Research

Our research is deliberately intradisciplinary and lies at the intersection of sustainability/sustainability management and other business subdisciplines (such as entrepreneurship, strategy, or accounting). We successfully publish our research results in high-ranking international journals and we engage in third-party funded projects. We use the findings of our research in teaching and transfer activities. Our research topics have a high societal relevance and we are committed to an active knowledge transfer and a close exchange with corporate practice. We currently focus on four major research areas:

  • Stakeholder behavior, non-financial reporting, and sustainable finance

  • Strategy and sustainability in social entrepreneurship and in developing countries

  • Performance measurement for sustainability

  • Sustainability related consumer behavior
